I’ve been wearing a hat during my lunchtime walks for over a year now. It’s both a comfort thing and a safety thing (the evils of UV on my not-very-well-covered noggin). I’ve had one hat (a rather rigid fedora with a mesh top) that’s done me well during that time, but I’ve found a new love.<\/p>\n

The Dorfman Pacific<\/a> hat at right is great. It’s light, it’s broad-brimmed, it’s comfortable, it’s stylish, and it comes in XXL size.<\/p>\n

The latter is particularly important, because I have a 7-3\/4 head. Most XLs go up to 7-1\/2 or 7-5\/8 max. With my hair trimmed short, I can just fit into the upper range of most XLs, but having an XXL is fabulous.<\/p>\n
