I periodically try out other blogging clients than my long-time favorite, SharpMT<\/a>, just to make sure I’m not missing out on something keen. This week it’s ecto<\/a>, which has been a long-time favorite for MacOS types, and now is available for Windows (and is being used by Ginny<\/a>).<\/p>\n

So far so good. Haven’t run across anything about it that I couldn’t live without, and don’t have yet a good feel as to whether it adds substantially enough to my life to be worth the $18 (SharpMT being free — though I’ve hit Randy’s donate button at least once).<\/p>\n

One nice feature it does have is a nice HTML preview page that I can point at with my online CSS file, thus actually seeing what is going to post much more closely. <\/p>\n
