The Blogathon<\/a> kicks off next Saturday, and my preparations are already underway, pulling out comics for review and outlining various topics to post on.  I think I won’t have any sort of shortage of things to blog about, so that’s something of a relief.  As long as I don’t put anyone to sleep (including myself), it should all work out well. <\/p>\n

I even have my t-shirts selected.<\/p>\n

I’ve been checking out some of the sites on the bloggers list<\/a> to see if there are any interesting places to visit.  I’ll be including that at at least one post.  Like most of the Internet, I fear Sturgeon’s Law<\/a> pertains, but there’s also no accounting for tastes (mine in particular). <\/p>\n

Speaking of the bloggers list, I see I presently have 9 pledges for $352, which is fabulous (that’s $14.67\/hr, or $7.18\/post).  Thanks, folks.  It’s not too late for others to sponsor<\/a>, and my charity of choice, the EFF, has been in the news<\/a> a bit of late, and it’s worth checking out. <\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
