This 12-minute video<\/a> alternates between being stone boring, abstractly artistic, and damned thrilling: a camera mounted to the right SRB (solid rocket booster) of the Discovery <\/em>(STS-121<\/a>), from about a minute before launch to detachment at about three minutes in, to splashdown in the Atlantic at 7:30 or so, and then another 4-plus minutes
\nof floating underwater.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, this was the 32nd flight of Discovery<\/em>, and the 115th space shuttle flight.  I really had no idea there had been so many.<\/p>\n
