I have, at very long last, updated my blogroll.  It’s actually published from my RSS reader (Blogmatrix Jaeger<\/a>, a great product I really can’t recommend because the publisher has all but abandoned it), and, over time, my RSS reader becomes full of subscriptions I don’t really use or that don’t work (and I never notice) or that really wouldn’t be of interest to the readers here.  So publishing it means a top-to-bottom
\nscrub, which, today, took about 4\u00bd hours. <\/p>\n

Add to that the fact that I<\/em> don’t actually use my blogroll, but instead use (duh) the RSS reader, and my immediate incentive to keep it up to date dwindles.  But, since I publish it here, I should at least occasionally maintain it, especially since I know some folks who do<\/em>, actually, use it. <\/p>\n

But, at least, it’s done for the moment.  Some random observations: <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \nBD and Jackie now show up there.  Huzzah!<\/li>\n
  2. \nMore comic strip site listings.  Yay!<\/li>\n
  3. \nA lot fewer political sites than once upon a time.<\/li>\n
  4. \nA separate Religion section.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Not too much should be drawn (or not drawn) by the inclusion (or non-inclusion) of any particular site.  And, the fact is, my RSS reads are likely to change by tomorrow, so it’s always a work in progress. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
