Steven Levy at Newsweek <\/i>writes about the new Apple iPod<\/a>, an MP3 player that can store 66 hours of music, downloaded from a Mac via FireWire.<\/p>\n

The iPod certainly got a lot of attention when I showed it to people, including a Windows guy named Bill Gates. He spun the wheel, checked out the menus on the display screen and seemed to get it immediately. \u201cIt looks like a great product,\u201d he said. And then he added, incredulous, \u201cIt\u2019s only for Macintosh?\u201d<\/p>\n

Okay, I admit it. I use Wintel machines. I don’t listen to MP3s. But I still think this is funny. That Newsweek <\/i>uses MSNBC as their Internet presence makes it even funnier.<\/p>\n
