Katherine’s friend Tyler had her 6th birthday party yesterday afternoon, and last night had a sleepover for Katherine.<\/p>\n

So at 5 p.m. last evening, we dropped her off at the Tyler’s house, made sure Ms. Paula had my cell phone, and headed off to …<\/p>\n

Well, actually, it was the evening for our “Hungry Flock” church progressive dinner party thang. So it was nice that we didn’t have to worry about a sitter or anything, or what time we needed to be home, or anything else. The house felt kind of empty, though, when we came home …<\/p>\n
Went to church this morning sans Kitten, and rescued Ms. Paula from Kitten’s tender embraces. Katherine had had a great time, no problems, behaved well, stayed up late, woke up … well, not too early … but no sign that Tyler’s folks wouldn’t welcome her over again, and we offered to let Tyler and Kendall stay over some time, too.<\/p>\n
