The weekend was, on a whole, pretty productive. I already mentioned Katherine’s birthday party on Friday night and the PTA game on Sunday afternoon.
Saturday was the “productive” day, with a bit of Friday afternoon and Sunday, too.
- I got the basement cleaned up for the game. I wanted to get a medium-sized round table for playing, but was unable to find one. We ended up playing on the breakfast table, which worked out fine and quite conveniently.
- I got the loft and new guest room straighted out Friday. Sunday, Doyce helped me get the desk out of the new guest room and onto the loft, and Doyce and Kate helped Margie and I get the mattress put into the Murphy bed. I now proclaim the room habitable for guests.
- I got a ton of plants — including some hostas — planted under the back deck. Yay! Now I just need to get all the rest of the plants planted somehow/when.
Whew. Back to the grindstone tomorrow.
