All Tom Tomorrow has to do is watch Fox. Really – that isn’t even much of an exaggeration.
Appallingly, no, it’s not. I caught “Fox & Friends” while trapped in an airport a short while back and it was genuine “Spider-Man: Threat or Menace?” material, just like the linked cartoon.
On the other hand, I’ve been reading a book about Civil War politics, even in the north, and the rhetoric hasn’t changed all that much between the Republican and Democratic press. Or, rather, it’s changed back to the same sort of style. Disgusting.
So Fox has voided 150 years of progress?
