While releasing government documents to show corruption and venality and truths hidden from the public that arguably ought to be known is quite arguably a good thing … such data dumps can, if not carefully and conscientiously curated, also include information that will hurt innocents, as in the latest batch released by WikiLeaks too painfully demonstrates.
