I still have to watch seasons 2-4 first. I thought that the CLONE WARS series was well done, and what I have seen of season 2 – ASOKA! – is great. Did you notice the reference to this show in Rogue One?
I loved clone wars! I think all seasons of rebels is on Netflix! Yeah I seen the Easter eggs in rogue one. I love it when shows and movies incorporate each other
I never could sit through The Clone Wars, but I enjoy Rebels a lot.
I met Timothy Zahn a few weeks ago and we were able to talk about Thrawn's appearances on the show. We were both gratified that they are staying true to the books (his first appearance on the show had him studying his opponent's works of art). 🙂
+Sean Landrey We've been slowly making our way through Clone Wars on Netflix in parallel (we just wrapped up S.2). It's a different sort of show, but I've been enjoying it.
+Laura Ess Ah! Yes, There are a number of Rebels references beyond that PA announcement in Rogue One (Chopper is also briefly visible, as is the Ghost).
I misread and thought you were talking about Rogue One references in the Rebels trailer. 🙂
Man this blows! I knew they could only go so far but damn seems too soon

+Scott Randel I'd not been introduced to Thrawn before that point, so, yes, noting some of his foibles and methods was fascinating.

+Laura Ess I don't know that I spotted a Rogue One reference per se, aside from shots of Yavin 4.
+Scott Randel Dark Force Rising was the first star wars book I ever read so bring up Timothy Zahn was really cool.
+Sean Landrey I have Zahn's new Thrawn book on my wish list for next time I'm buying books.
Is there a good place to watch Season 3 online… legally?
+Isaac Sher https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Rebels-Season-3/dp/B01LWNPB6J, but at $2 an episode. 😛

+Dave Hill Listen to the P.A. announcements as the rebel fleet lifts off to do battle.
