No, we were there in the afternoon. Saw it, though. Did do rum tasting at the new distillery.
They weren’t ready for tastings when we were there. How was it?
Three varieties at the Koloa Rum Co: white, mdm, dark. All were quite nice. Each person can only get a small amount of one type, so groups can share. Dark was best.
Ended up buying a dark for home, and a bottle of dark + mai-tai mix for New Year’s Eve.
Current lot was made fr last plantation sugar can fr the island. Will be supported by small farmers on the island hereafter.
