Now with Special Captioning of Covers!

Thanks again to my family for putting up with having their Sunday afternoons and/or evenings interrupted with this stuff.

  1. So the best comic of the week is a reprint of stories from 10 to 20 years ago? That’s kind of sad.

I got Mark Maguire to autograph my Justice League America* #1 at ECCC this year. 🙂

*Note the lack of the preposition “of” in the title; you misspoke in the podcast (but are forgiven).

    1. It actually a new story (two, in fact) told as though it was 15-20 years old, original material, not reprints.

I did notice the idiosyncratic period lack of “of” in the title, but went ahead and left it in when saying the name.

  2. Augh! Yes, I meant Kevin Maguire!

These are new stories? I just assumed they were reprints. OK, time to give them a try! Thanks for the heads up.

  3. The whole RetroActive series (over the past four months or so) have been all-new stories, done by the writers/artists of the era in question, or by others in homage to same. For the most part, browsing through, I’ve not been impressed, but I was tempted into buying the JLA ish, and am glad I did.

I expect they will be collected in TPBs in the next few months.
