That he is either so blissfully certain that the process works that there’s no weight on his shoulders or soul regarding executions — or that he is aware that the process sometimes doesn’t work but is willing to lie to the nation about it — should get him banned from politics altogether. Unfortunately, given the appalling applause when Texas’ execution record was mentinoed, it seems unlikely that those folks, at least, think there’s anything wrong with Perry’s stance.

- CBO confirms (again) that the stimulus worked – If the CBO repeated the truth as often as Boehner, McConnell, the whole GOP congressional delegation, the GOP presidential candidates, Fox News, and the punditry of the Right repeated the lie, maybe we’d get somewhere. Of course, if the Dems were being more vocal about it, including the White House, that wouldn’t hurt, either.
