- Uses For The Modern Phone – Heh.
- Daily Kos: Letting them die – We used to be appalled at cultures that would expose their elderly, leaving them to die out in the elements because they could no longer produce, because the tribe felt it could no longer support them. Guess what we’re becoming. Because, in the long run, the COST of these sorts of things has gone beyond the ability of the local tribe (church, neighborhood, even small town) to handle. But that’s what we’re being told is the rightful thing to do — never mind who we are, supposedly as a nation, or a state … it’s solely up to word of mouth and the locals to take care of their problems. And yet these Tea Party people turn around and call themselves patriots and wave their national flags with fervor. And what exactly do they think that represents?
