I am all for tough water pollution standards. And I believe that when they create inconveniences, that's usually just too darn bad.
But when you set those standards below the detection limit (or quantitation limit — I don't completely trust the article's science nomenclature) of the contaminant, then you're just being goofy. Especially when they are dramatically lower than other state limits.
Surely there's a reasonable approach here. #ddtb
