Of course, there have been conspiracy theories about black helicopters and desert prison camps and impending election-canceling martial law in the Bush and Clinton administrations, too.
Still, I do worry a bit about the folks who listen to this sort of claptrap actually taking preemptive action against the impending jackbooted tyranny that's predicted.
