The threadbare standards of Honest Journalism

It's sort of like the bare minimum you do when the government in the country you're reporting from is editing your broadcasts — you let the viewers know that they are seeing an edited broadcast.  Similarly, agreeing to do a political interview and only letting people know about the conditions on the interview later should be the minimum, rather than the praiseworthy standard.
