I think what frustrates me more than airline prices in general, are what seem like zany price differentials between things that intuitively feel like they should be the same. There are a variety of reasons for that (the airlines are not irrational), but the all boil down to maximizing profit by getting as many bodies on a plane as it will hold for as high a price as they believe people will pay at that single point in time.
