Whilst Margie and I had a faboo 240 Union dinner with the Boss Man, embellished by both bottles of Silver Oak ’98 (Alexander Valley) and glasses of 20-year-old tawny port, Doyce had even more fun taking care of Kitten for us.

The Testerfolk are owed big-time goodies from Disney World.

And an amazing, unexpected, happy ending.

Three weeks ago, our 17yo, pudgy, arthritic Siberian slipped past me thru an open door, undetected. Her absence wasn't noticed until the next morning and there was no sign of her.

We had, frankly, lost hope.

This afternoon, a neighbor some houses away connected the dots between a poster I had put up and the cat that was hanging out in their window well, and contacted me.

And it was our cat, and she's now home (and getting much pampering).

Whew!

Y'know, as a convicted criminal, I'm not sure I'd be encouraging the police to rough up, assault, or kill suspects, even for just one day.
