As the hover caption indicates, one significant difference between interracial and same-sex marriage in the US is that societal approval for the former lagged far behind its legalization in Loving v. Virginia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loving_v._Virginia), but societal approval of same-sex marriage has preceded its legalization (which has been both legislative and judicial).
(It's also remarkable that there are still about 20% of the population who disapprove of interracial marriage — but, then, it seems you can find about 20% of the population to disapprove of just about anything.)
