I like bacon. In fact, I love bacon. Bacon is wonderful. Bacon is one of the great inventions of the culinary world. Bacon is a compelling reason for me never to convert to Judaism and, in fact, a prima facie case that God means for us to eat meat.

That said, I don’t feel particularly compelled to read (or write) a bacon blog.

  1. Well, it’s true that there are very few entrees or side dishes that cannot be enhanced by being wrapped or sprinkled with bacon (the same can be said for garlic, butter, and sauteed onions). However, I find nice, crispy bacon to be perfectly acceptible as an actual food to consume, not just as an add-on.

    Yum.
