Today was my first “it’s been 24 hours since I was running a fever” day, so I declared myself well-ish from the flu. Which was good timing, because Margie is overrun with office work, and I still had a crud-load of NaNoWriMo prep to do. Plus, of course, it’s Halloween.

I am feeling much, much better — a bit of congestion, still, and the Hacking Cough of Doom (which, I am mournfully told by all will be with me for weeks to come — along with, presumably, the technicolor loogies that are generated by said coughs).

My back is sore, of all things — I’m not sure if it’s the deep coughing, the sitting for multiple days on the couch, or the flurry of activity I’ve been in the past few days since getting my energy back. In any case, it’s annoying.

But I’m feeling better …
