  1. Thanks, as always, for some meaty posts, ***Dave. My only quibble is that I’m not sure I could consider Thunderbird 3 for e-mail unless it was fully integrated into the system Address Book. From what I’ve read, the ‘integration’ goes only one way, so if you add someone within the program they stay only in the program. That could be fine for some, but since I sync Address Book among four Macs, an iPod, and an iPhone, it’s potentially a big limitation. It looks like Mozilla’s made some big strides forward on other fronts, though, so there’s still hope that it could someday be a contender to unseat Mail 🙂

    1. I can see why that would be a limitation for you — I’ve always bitched about Windows’ lack of a centralized address book (or, rather, a succession of them).
