I don’t know why they worked, or how, but a lot of us in a dosage study in 2000-1 got a lot of help from rTMS. In my case, I had to have at least a minor bit of anti-depressant for it to work, and this was before my bipolar dx. There were uni- and bi-polar depressives in the study.
