I just got a new company cell phone, replacing my old Nokia 6160 with a Motorola V.60t.
It’s tiny.
The only think I’m missing so far is that the Motorola doesn’t have the Samba ring-tone of the Nokia. On the other hand, it actually does have a facility to hand-code your own ring-tones, so I might do that while on vacation.
Many accessories on order.
See me dance a dance of geeky gadget joy.
Hey, can you let me know if you ever find the notes for Samba? (Or even a website that has them.) I, too, just switched to a Motorola from a Nokia, and Samba was my ringtone since very few other people used it. Thanks!
Haven’t found it yet, but I’ll let you know if I do.
Any websites that have the notes for ringtone/songs? I just got the v60t and I am missing my downloaded ringtones from the Nokia.
Thanks! Keith
where can i find ring tone notes for my motorola v-60t
I’d say do a Google search on “ringtone” and “v60” and/or “motorola” …
hey i’ve programmed several songs for my v60 if anyone wants i can email the notes/numbers/rythms needed
I might take you up on that. I’ve yet to successfully follow the programming instructions on any of the web pages I’ve found. Though I’ve come to enjoy the ragtime tune it has built-in.
On the other hand, there is a certain measure of irony in the timing of this message (TBA).
