By the by, Sunday, the 24th, marks the six month anniversary of “***Dave Does the Blog.” Wow.
I’ll try to do something on Der Tag, but since there’s only an hour (and that full of packing) from the time we come down the mountain to when I have to leave for the airport, and then I get in at Knoxville (not at the hotel yet) at 11:30p, I don’t hold out much hope.
So, if you’re feeling nostalgic, check out the archives to the left for August 2001, before the world changed, and read those fateful words …

I thought you had been here, like, forever…
Of course, I have been keeping an online journal all of 3 months, and it feels like I have been doing so for far longer than that. Three months as of Sunday. Huh.

Not sure what Mahashenberg is, but I will endeavor to have a happy one.
Margie will have to join the jenn/xkot Greek chorus, since she, too, was amazed it was only six month.
Personally, it feels like … well both something very new and something I’ve been doing forever. I guess that averages out to six months …
And, assuming I can get the Internet connection working in the hotel I still haven’t checked into, I’ll be able to get the second six months started right …
