I’ve been subscribing to the Comic Buyer’s Guide for — well, heck, it’s actually going on five years now. It’s a tabloid mag that discusses the comic book industry, upcoming news, restrospectives, etc.
I’d picked up individual issues in the past, usually at the San Diego Comic-Con, where Krause Publishing always passes out free issues.
The one item in it that I always found the most entertaining was the “But I Digress” column by Peter David. Enough so that I actually bought at one SDCC the collection of the column that CBG published.
Well, David (who now has, natch, a blog now — doesn’t everyone?) has begun reprinting his old columns, starting this week with his July ’90 column.
It’s good, entertaining stuff (shock and surprise). Check it out.
