I’m shocked, shocked I tell you, to discover that Qwest, the lowest-service, sleaziest-business of the Baby Bells (and, yes, I know they are not technically a Baby Bell, but work with me here), teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, is now reporting that, yup, their accounting practices were just a wee bit out of tune, to something a bit over a billion dollars in the last year.
Shocked.
So, is everything still on the fast track to their being able to sell long distance service within their local service area?
