Why there oughta be a license

I don’t really think that certain individuals should require training, an exam, approval by a review board, and a license in order to marry, procreate, or even just hang together.

But I swear to God, sometimes it sure seems like that would make sense.

The only silver lining here is that I suspect the ad will generate more contributions for Acton than for her vile opponent.

Earlier this month I was automatically sent my #MailInBallot . After filling it out, I dropped it off at a convenient, secure drop box on Monday. The ballot was received by the county, my signature on the envelope was validated, and my vote was counted.

And at each of those steps I got an e-mail and a text message, confirming it.

Plus I got a nice virtual #Blucifer" voting sticker!

Thank you for showing, once again, #Colorado, that this system works.

There is a graduated, progressive #IncomeTax #measure on the ballot this #election in #Colorado, replacing a flat 4.4%, and it is remarkable that the top arguments being levied against this "bizarre/radical" measure are "It's unfair because $500K [the tipping point] isn't that much income," and "Egads, all the rich people will move away to Texas and we will be poor!"

#DonaldTrump doesn't actually say anything *new* in his TIME interview -- but it remains fascinating (and deeply depressing) reading the farrago of lies, delusions, illogic, self-serving, and Bizarro World perspective of what he has to say. Failure is Success! Annihilation is Peace! Lies are Truth! Everyone Loves Me!

I Am Old Enough To Remember when one of the big conservative arguments against #SocializedMedicine was that the gubbiment would have access to everyone's health care data.
