Briefly, at least.
I’m in the beeyooteeful Philadelphia area (in Conshohocken, in point of fact) with my boss, meeting with one of my reports, to discuss various projects, directions, etc. etc. etc.
Travel was okay, no real problems, aside from a display board that said my boss’ plane landed about 15 minutes before he really did, which, since I couldn’t go through security to his gate, was kind of worrisome.
Mercifully, this is a short trip — I head back home tomorrow, which is good, since Margie is (a) sick, and (b) getting tense about the Britain trip and the prep necessary to it. (As noted earlier, Margie will tend toward getting worried about such things early on; I’ll be calm until the day or two beforehand, at which time my own tension will spike, even as Margie gets seriously Zen. We work well that way, I guess.)
So this weekend will largely focus on Britain trip-work, and (since we didn’t do it last weekend) getting Christmas put away. And getting Margie some R&R time.
