Well, there’s something you don’t see every day, Chauncey.
What’s that, Edgar?
A frickin’ snow plow going up the street.
I have never seen a snow plow on our street.
Remind me to write a nice letter to my City Councilman. Though I hope we don’t end up with a berm that causes Margie problems. I might have to do some midnight shoveling.
UPDATE: Uh … for some reason, it stopped a couple of houses down from us, backed back down the Circle, and just appeared on Monaco St., going into the Trophy Club. How … bizarre.
UPDATE: Okay, he came back — from the top of the street, logically enough, with a big Arapahoe Co./City of Centennial logo on his door. Huzzah. And followed a few minutes later by a skiploader. And, as a special bonus, no significant berm to cause Margie problems when she returns tonight. Huzzah.
Definitely going out tomorrow.
Hoodey-hoo!
Never before but, what the hell, it’s the biggest snow since 1913. Sure and it sets a precedent for the next 90-year snow but the city council probably isn’t too worried about it.
At the Albertsons next to work they had a giant construction bulldozer plowing.
At work they had a Bobcat working the snow all day long. They’ll finish up some time today.
