Here’s an amazing 1957 “Atomic Revolution” comic book, lovingly scanned (large images warning) for your viewing pleasure.

Since one pound of uranium can do the job of 1,300 tons of coal or 360,000 gallons of gasoline, atomic fuel will revolutionize the transportation industry. Already on the drawnig boards are atomic ships that will be able to travel for months without refuelng. Atomic aircraft may soon be with us, and some preliminary studies have been made on atomic locomotives.
