Golf Ball-Sized Hail, Meet Mr. 737.
Ouch.
Have I mentioned that Denver is considered the Hail Capitol of the US?
My folks fly into town tomorrow. Still, hopefully. Hi, Mom!

Boy, no kidding! We lived in the Denver metro area for about 7 years, and I’ve never seen it hail like that anywhere else!
I guess you missed the giganto hail storm that hit Denver shortly after DIA opened. The storm traveled to the South-east from Boulder toward DIA. It was the most costly hail storm in US history. Mostly because it did the kind of damage shown in those photos to somewhere around 30 planes that where parked or landing at the time. All of them had to be scraped and hauled out by truck because they no longer were flyable. To much lift because of all of the Dimples on the tops of the wings.
I don’t recall that (though I was here in Denver at the time).
I do recall being told with certainty by my Realtor when all the houses in the neighborhood had had their roofs replaced, since it all took place due to one storm that passed through …
(And it’s getting to be time for another …)
