Doyce ran us through an introductory session of InSpectres last night. Much, much fun. Not something to replace regular gaming or game systems, but a great system for an occasional semi-one-off didn’t-get-prepped-in-time game. It requires *no* advance work by the GM — the players end up writing the story, and everyone ends up entertaining each other. Most excellent.
Here’s a good review, and here’s the official site. I’ll update with a summary of the game once Doyce has it up …
So…
Have you found the dice yet?
Nope.
(For those just coming in to the story.)
On Friday night, we played InSpectre, and I brought up a bunch of Margie’s D6s in one frisbee, and mine in another.
When we sat down to do the same on Saturday night, Margie’s were around, but mine had vanished.
Everybody hunted for them for about half an hour — a much more intense hunt than I’d usually ask my friends to do. Nada.
Still haven’t shown up. Which is … annoying, to say the least.
Doyce’s lengthy game summary is here.
