Rainshowers turning to sleety stuff last night turned into …
… winter wonderland this morning. About 2-3″ accumulated already on the deck and yard. The streets are pretty clear, still, and the trash truck just passed by with no problems … though it’s still snowing.
Work (from home) this morning, followed by prep for Margie Gras this evening. Unless it snows a lot more heavily, of course. In which case we’ll have to have our own private party. 🙂
Statement as of 6:36 am MDT on April 23, 2004 (Expires 4:36 PM MDT on April 23, 2004) …A Winter Storm Warning Is In Effect Until Midnight Mdt Tonight…
Snow will continue through this evening… and will be heavy at times. Total accumulations from this storm are expected to range from 4 to 10 inches with the heaviest amounts in the southern and western suburbs.
We’re certainly a southern ‘burb — and kind of midway between east and west …
Well, not so much. There really wasn’t any snow last night, and the storm kind of fizzled. Any amount is good, but the storm didn’t really break the drought.
