Livingroom is once again soliciting good but under-read blogs. Throw in some nominees.
The reason for this series was that whilst there are plenty of blog awards that identify the most popular bloggers, best designed blogs, best photobloggers etc. – unfortunately only a few select blogs tend to win these competitions whilst thousands of excellent blogs go unnoticed and uncelebrated. ‘Celebrating the Underblogger’ seeks to identify and promote these bloggers – the Underbloggers.
Good idea. I might do some browsing through the previous list some time.

I have no idea if my blog qualifies as an Underblog or not. I’m no A-lister, but I get my fair share of page views.
Well, I think it deserves further publicity, regardless. Good stuff.
Okay — perhaps I stand corrected.
Looking through the previous year’s list, I discover three things:
So. Browse at your own risk. YMMV (not to be confused with YHVH.)
Okay, I’ve now browsed through the last year’s set of 100.
I found two that rang a chime with me enough to put into my RSS reader. I’d say the percent of dead sites (either 404 or “Quit Blogging”) was 50%. The percent of Christian sites was about 45%.
Again, no problem with Christian sites — I natter on here about my religion, on occasion. But all-Christianity-all-the-time is not what I’m in the mood to read, any more than I want to read all-politics or all-gaming, or all-comics, or …
Well, maybe all-comics.
