Note for self once PC is back in operation: check out the Picasa photo imaging software available free from Google (which acquired it earlier this month). Looks pretty cool, and has some good press.
(Amusingly, if you search for “picassa,” Google recognizes it as a possible misspelling — and asks if you were searching for “Picasso.” Heh.)
