My mom posted, I believe, the first comment she’s made here on my blog, even though I know that she reads it regularly.
Whilst she was speaking with Margie on the phone this afternoon, I noticed this, and made loud accusatory squawks toward the phone. Margie passed on the message (presumably in fun) that she (my mom) wasn’t sure I wanted my mother, of all people, commenting on my blog.
Bosh.
Comment away. Anyone reading, comment away. Comments are good. They keep things from being just me nattering away here. And it’s always validation that folks are actually reading the stuff here and are interested in it.
So comment away, Mom (and anyone else). Love to hear from you.
I concurr. Half the reason I run a blog myself is to try and stir up some thought and discussion on the issues I write about. I’m not so much out to change anyone’s position on the vast majority of things I write about so much as to get folks to think about why the hold the views that they do. But it’s also just nice to hear from folks who enjoy the blog.
Now that you’ve got her commenting it shouldn’t be long before you can talk your Mom into writing her own blog. That’s how I got my Mom started. 🙂
I might just do that.
Well, I’ll be around home in December if you want me to do it and provide on-site support. 🙂
