An interesting article here on how little has been done on neuroscience related to sex — and why. Bottom line, neuroscientific research setups are not terribly conducive to producing orgasms, which in turn are not something that can be reliably produced “on demand.” That — and scientists don’t like being sniggered at by the press (or thundering Congressmen wondering why tax dollars are being spent on etc. etc.).
