Weight’s down to 204 as of this morning. I’m calling it the Über-Geek Diet — not only am I counting calories on my Palm and PC, but when I’m busy playing City of Heroes in the evening, I just don’t think about (or can’t afford to be) wandering into the kitchen and eating a box of Girl Scout cookies for dessert …
It’s actually kind of an exciting number — 11 pounds ahead of where I should be in my current weight loss plan (a pound a week, down to 175 some time in October), but, more importantly, it’s below where I was last time I was monitoring my weight, 207, a plateau I hung at for some weeks before I decided to stop worrying about it. It makes me pretty sure I can break 200, which would be a huge (as in “not for a couple of decades”) milestone for me.
Congrats! I slipped badly at the end of last year; I’m back on hardcore WW again, though (and not far ahead of you, at 200.6…).
Thanks, Scott. Encouragement is … encouraging.
