FRIDAY
Friday was one of the more subdued Margie Gras shindigs we’ve had in a while — I think that Saturdays work out better, since folks are not coming in at the tail end of a long work week. Lori was tired, everyone else was yawning, and we ended relatively soon. Only got through three eps of Coupling season 4 (which were, of course, hysterical).
Afterwards, Margie and I did a bit of CoH, and went to bed (too late)
SATURDAY
Mostly CoH, mostly Margie and Stan and me.
SUNDAY
In the afternoon, after sundry errands, I got to take Katherine to a birthday party held by one of her Brown Room friends, Jacqueline. It was held at a Little Gym, a fun gym place for, well, kids, which also does birthday parties. Lots of fun, and Katherine made like the Roadrunner around the place, which was a kick to see.
Back home, a bit more late afternoon CoH, interrupted by an emergency reboot on Champion, which gave us an opportunity to Feed and Bed Down the Child.
So, nothing too exciting, but some nice fun with the family.
You forgot to mention that the Brita experament was mostly successful in proof of concept, if we has started with something other then grain alcohol.
“my god…it smells like rubbing alcohol, and it tastes like burning, but after 10 times through the brita, it’s almost drinkable.”
Ah. Good point.
All told, though, I think the home-steeped vanilla honey vodka was much more successful … We need to set up more of that.
Yws…and I also loved that Doyce was making the attempt to peddle the CoH crack to Dave G. inbetween Coupling Eps.
“testicles!”
“Don’t cut the Muffin!
