After lunch yesterday, I got Outlook updated on my new PC — and spent the rest of the afternoon watching it crank away, synchronizing my (admittedly huge) message store down to the notebook. Indeed, it wasn’t finished by the time I headed home, so I left it here at the office.

Last night, after staying up (too) late playing CoH, I finally started running a backup of my old PC. That added an hour to the get-to-bed time, while I shut down processes, did a MozBackup of Firefox and Thunderbird, and then got the backup started …

… not waiting long enough to see the message that the backup drive was full. Until, of course, when I came down this morning.

I cleared off some space (several Gb) and tried again, and watched as it slowly began to do its thing.

So I’m in the office late, with a partially installed (but synced-up, mail-wise) computer, while my other computer at home gets backed up. Woo-hoo.
