Ah.
Fortunately I spotted the little message indicating that my machine was no longer seeing the home network. Ditto Margie’s. Investigation indicated that the Netgear wireless router/access point was no longer broadcasting. As in, even the little light on the front was out.
Cycled power several times. Tried an Ethernet cable to one of the hard ports. Nada.
Well. So much for that evening of online entertainment. I know what I’m doing at lunch today …
