It’s interesting to compare the pictures of la Monroe to the pictures of the women who were posting in that forum–they were considerably leaner, tanner and more muscle bound than she was. Hard bodies.
She was always luminous and projected a softness both with her body and her voice. Amazing that all these years after her death she is still an icon and although physically she is very far from our current “ideal” she is still a sex symbol.
