Should I be torqued more at the shoplifters whose depredations provoke manufacturers into sealing merchandise (particularly electronics) into hard-case plastic that is nearly impossible to open even with scissors? Or with those manufacturers for burdening all honest consumers with said packaging?
All I know is, I wanna hit someone.
I have always thought it would be interesting to find emergency-room statistics from injuries caused by indestructable transparent packaging.
The concentration of mechanical force needed to open them, combined with the poor manual dexterity of the average person, is sure to produce a steady stream of injuries ranging from simple cuts to tendon and artery resections. :-0
