  1. So far so good.

I’ve disabled MT-Blacklist and MT-DSBL (the SpamLookup module replaces the latter, and much of the former, and MTB either doesn’t run under MT 3.2 or else needs tweaking to do so).

I had an odd mod_security error pop up — “Precondition Failed” — in looking at the SpamLookup settings. It seems that HM actually now blocks certain spammy words from being written to certain kinds of files, so it acts as sort of a pre-spam-filter in some ways.

I got a weird PHP Smartypants error when I tried to open up an individual page. I disabled the Smartypants comments in the individual archive template — and it worked. And, in fact, it still did SmartyPants stuff, too, which is *really* weird.

More as it comes. Let’s see if it will save a comment.

  2. MT-Notifier isn’t playing well, though I suspect it’s a problem on my end. I’ll investigate.

    Further things to do:

    1. Look at the purty new templates, decide what, if anything, I want to lift from them. Etc.

    2. I’d like to start making “intelligent” filenames for posts (e.g., “050915_under_construction.html” rather than “009451.html”), but I’d like to keep the old ones around because of historic links (redirecting to the “real” ones). Fact is, since all my individual archives are virtual/dynamic, there’s no reason I can’t do that. Just need to take some time to do so.
