Sorry for the silence so far today (ironically, you’ll hear more from me while I’m away than while I’m here), but work has been nucking futs — trying to clear my desk for a week away, on a week that has a holiday weekend in front of it so it’s already foreshortened. My to-do list is like Hydra — check off one task, and another two arise in its place …

Apropos of nothing – Noticing this date I went looking for blogging about Katherine’s birth and noticed that you have neither a Katherine or a Family category listed on the right hand column. Just curious. Wish I could be going with you to Florida – see you in June.
Alas, this blog post-dates Katherine’s birth (the first post here is from August 2001). Very much a shame, that.
I do have a Parenting category, which is where I put Katherine-specific stuff (as well as general child-rearing bits). Other family stuff either goes where it fits (Travel, Food & Drink, etc.), or under Personal.
I’ve considered building a Marriage category, but never quite gotten around to it.

This was her last day of Kindergarten. She is (if I may wallow in the cliche) growing so fast!
