Okay, first the bad news: Jim and Margie (and Ginger) didn’t get the guest room completed.

Now for the good news:

  1. With minimal tidying, we got both cars into the garage tonight, as the snow began to fall.
  2. The major, difficult, lots-of-measuring-and-creativity bits in the guest room are done. The counter is complete. The main remainder is building the last block of bookshelves, plus some minor trim bits, and nearly everything is already cut and ready. We can do that. Planning on doing this Saturday.
  3. The room looks faboo, even incomplete.

Many thanks to Jim (and Ginger, and Margie) for all the work they put into this today (not to mention the past several days).

  1. RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!

Yes, the electricity is done. Well, we didn’t get the downlights over by the new desk put in; that will have to wait for the next outing (Electricity Plus Crawling Around In The Attic Equals FUN!).
