A very nice Fourth of July. Woke up too early, but did some CoX and some cleaning. Margie wandered down, then we showered, and swung into action. Put up the flag. I cleaned, she shopped and cooked, and we were relaxing about half an hour before folks arrived.
Randy, Jackie, Kaylee, Stan, Angie, Bruce, Doyce, De and Rachel. Self-rolled sushi, tempura, “Outburst,” crepes and ice cream, and plenty of conversation, laughs, and good times.
Got things relatively cleaned up, and time for bed, as tomorrow’s a Work Day (dagnabbit).
The only thing missing was watching 1776. 🙂
UPDATE: Added De and Ray. Don’t know what I was thinking.
Hey! Ray and I were there, too. This must be documented!
Your taste in movies is way classier than mine. I watched Independence Day, and worked on a bicycle.
I love 1776. It’s a wretched screen adaptation (direction-wise, esp. if you see a pan-and-scan version), but it’s a faboo show..
